Having been through six months of dealing with three other agents, which were absolute disaster and totally ineffective in selling my house, I was starting to wonder what I would do. We decided to sell our family home of 29 years, unfortunately we chose a bad time as the market was in a downturn due to the world financial crisis.

When my wife and I decided to put our house in Sydney''s northern beaches area on the market recently, we put a lot of time into researching the market and talking to real estate professionals in the area.
It was clear to us that in order to generate maximum interest in the property, we had to get access to a number of marketing channels, the main one being www.realestate.com.au, followed by the Page 7 in the Manly Daily. We also strongly felt that as the owners of the home we were best qualified to sell its features to prospective buyers.
