When my wife and I decided to put our house in Sydney''s northern beaches area on the market recently, we put a lot of time into researching the market and talking to real estate professionals in the area.

It was clear to us that in order to generate maximum interest in the property, we had to get access to a number of marketing channels, the main one being www.realestate.com.au, followed by the Page 7 in the Manly Daily. We also strongly felt that as the owners of the home we were best qualified to sell its features to prospective buyers.

We had seen Owners Online advertisements on the web and in the media for a couple of years and decided to explore the options offered with Andrew & Lee Egan. We liked the fact that there were several options from which to choose, and the fact that our involvement could be scaled up or down dependent on which one was chosen.

We liked the fee structure, and in particular the fact that an open agency was offered, which would allow us to introduce prospects from our own sources, or for other agents to introduce clients. In addition the web marketing that was offered through e-brochure and distribution to Owners Online's database was another benefit.

After committing to going ahead were very impressed with the speed to market; from giving the go-ahead on the Tuesday, photography was completed the following day, the web marketing was live on Friday and advertising appeared in the Manly Daily on Saturday for the first open house inspections that day.

Response was very strong with more than 88 individual groups [150+ people] going through over three Saturdays. The follow up by Owners Online resulted in several keen buyers competing for the property and finally a street record price was achieved of $1,390,000. We will certainly use Owners Online again in the future.

Ben, your communication was patient and reassuring, especially when I was in a bad mood. Regular reports on progress [even when there wasn’t any] assured us that we were important to you. Both of you showed a willingness and capacity to listen demonstrating your understanding of the importance of the client and how that operates in a professional relationship.

ADVERTISING We were impressed with the online & ebrochure marketing of the property and the attention to detail and persistence [particularly with the floor plans Lee] that ensured that the property’s features were highlighted clearly and taken to the market persuasively.

An important aspect of selling a home is minimising the stress. For me that meant choosing an agent that I felt a rapport with, that I felt I could trust. Someone I could rely on to be efficient, contactable and do the very best they could for me as a seller. Andrew Egan and his partner, Lee were all of these things and much more.

As a young couple with two small children, we have made the decision for a change of lifestyle and a lager home in Queensland. Initially we had done our own home work on property sales within Cromer over the past 12 months. The next step was to get some local real estate agents through the door to give us an idea on what the property would sell for.

To our dismay and horror the general attitude of most agents was poor and one agent did not even step into the house before giving a pie in the sky price range.

After being with a local agency for three months and not one offer we were thrilled that our first ad with Owners Online introduced a buyer and we received an offer well within the range we were expecting.
